About Us
The Association for Youth Literacy and Trades Education is a registered not-for-profit organization founded by a group of young Rwandan technicians in response to the challenges faced by Rwandan youth in the aftermath of the 1994 genocide.
ASOLATE aims to:
- 1. Train youth in employable skills
- 2. Reduce poverty and fight unemployment
- 3. Reinforce unity and reconciliation in Rwanda
- 4. Raise awareness and prevent HIV/AIDS
- 5. Teach project management and cooperative organization
