ASOLATE Training Center
The ASOLATE Training Center opened in 2005 to offer 41 child heads of household living on the streets of Ngoma training in one of four trades: (1) soldering and electricty, (2) soap, candle, and paint-making; (3) sewing, and; (4) project management. In 2006, with the support of the Province of Kibungo, ASOLATE trained 60 vulnerable youth.
This year, ASOLATE Training Center has 120 students, 51 female and 69 male. Students graduate better placed to start up businesses that meet the local community's demand for products and services.
